Have you ever tried manifesting your desires, only to feel frustrated when things don't seem to come to fruition as quickly or easily as you hoped? Manifesting, the practice of attracting what you want into your life through the power of positive thinking and belief, is a popular concept in the realm of personal development. However, it's essential to understand that manifesting isn't just about wishful thinking, it requires a realistic approach and consistent effort.

One key reality of manifesting is that it takes time and patience. Now I am not sure if you are like me, but patience does not come naturally. When I make up my mind, I want things to happen immediately. That is not to say I am above doing the work but when I set my mind on something I fully expect that thing to happen- exactly what you think manifesting would be all about right? Wrong. While it's important to visualize your goals and stay positive, it's equally crucial to put in the necessary work and take practical (this being the key here) steps towards achieving what you desire. Setting realistic and achievable goals, breaking them down into smaller tasks, and staying committed to taking action can significantly increase your chances of success.

Unfortunately we cannot just state and think what we want to happen into fruition, we have to do some big work around it and often when you think you have done the work, that is just the beginning. It's as though the universe is testing you to see if that is truly what you want, and believe me I have manifested somethings into being that I wish I had heeded the universe's warnings about, but I was adamant. Sometimes, obstacles are put in our way to make us truly think about what we are pursuing and they are meant to make us think about what we truly desire. As frustrating as it is, this is what I mean by work, and simply not calling what we want into reality- it doesn't work that way, though wouldn't it be fabulous if it did?. Believe me if I could think my way into a situation, I would have a new car (or any car) sitting in my driveway right about now (unfortunately the Jeep saga continues) and I have yet to be able to manifest it back into my reality. When I get frustrated (and believe me I often do) I have to remind myself that in time the situation will correct itself and perhaps there is still something here I need to learn or work I need to put into this circumstance. Often, this is when I hit my mat, and try to surrender to the universe, and put trust that the seeds I have planted will in time grow.
To keep your manifestation journey grounded in reality, consider incorporating mindfulness practices such as meditation and journalling into your daily routine. These tools can help you stay focused, maintain a positive mindset, and let go of any limiting belief's that may be holding you back.

Remember, manifesting is a powerful tool for creating the life that you want, but it's essential to approach it with a balanced perspective and a willingness to put in the work. By staying true to yourself, setting realistic expectations, and staying consistent in your efforts, you can harness the true potential of manifesting and turn your dreams into reality.
With love and light,
